Mission Statement

Greetings friend, and welcome to He Is Risen Radio. This is a Christian podcast about Jesus, to come to better know Him (John 17:3), grow with Him (2 Peter 3:18), and be saved by Him (Romans 10:9).

He is Risen Radio is a podcast about Jesus, plain and simple. Our goal is to help people hear about Christ so they can grow closer to Him through a loving relationship with Him for all eternity.

Unfortunately, many people allow too many obstacles to prevent them from knowing Christ. One of the purposes of this podcast is to clear the air and show how easy it can be to know Jesus in our lives by His Grace.

Many say they can’t go to church or know Him because… (fill in your own blank). Maybe they think they’re too much of a sinner. Or perhaps they swear and use profanity, and Christians don’t swear. Maybe I can’t sing, and hymns are a big deal in church.

The lies we tell ourselves are endless: “I don’t have the right clothes, people will judge me for whatever reason, I listen to rock music, I watch sports, I play video games, and my kids believe in Santa. Am I just not good enough call myself a disciple of Jesus?”

The list of reasons why we aren’t “enough” is eternal. Thankfully for us, so is Christ’s grace and forgiveness!

If you’re facing challenges coming to Christ, then join the club. We are all sinners and fall short of the grace of God. Christ came to serve all people, especially those who are afflicted and don’t think they are worthy of Him! God does not call anything impure that He has made clean (Acts 10:15), and that includes you.

On He is Risen Radio, you’ll hear many topics discussed, but absolutely everything comes back to Jesus and His Word! We’ll host friendly discussions and sometimes even friendly debates on certain issues. Some shows will be comical–sometimes very comical–and others are more serious.

One thing He is Risen Radio is not is a political broadcast. We don’t care who you vote for, what party you’re a part of, or espouse any political views. We care about where you are on your journey with Christ!
